Some books for you to read in the month of May!

Hey guys! Hopeful here!
As you may have noticed, I have been posting thoughts on books I’ve found to be really influential in my Christian life while living in the Downtown Eastside.
I wanted to give you some foresight into what books are coming up in May, in case anyone wants to read ahead, and then we can argue about it in the comments, like a real book club! (I am guessing that that’s what book clubs are like, because I’ve never been to one. Literary people are violent. I imagine book clubs are similar to Fight Clubs, only the kind you can talk about.)
May 6 – The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan
May 13 – Life After God by Douglas Coupland (he’s from Vancouver!)
May 20 – The Four Loves by C.S Lewis (He will come up a lot in these lists. I’m biased to my favourites.)
May 27 – Phantastes by Geoge Macdonald
An tomorrow we will be talking about The Road, by Cormac McCarthy!
Read all of these books. Let’s talk about them. Let’s learn together.
