Application Guidelines – Vancouver Campus

  1. Your information will allow The War College to consider your application. Space is limited.

  2. The 2008/09 session begins mid-September 2008, and concludes mid-August 2009.

  3. Full-time fee (*) is currently set at CAD$6,000. The price is subject to change. (*note – Since The War College is not a certified program recognized by CRA, fee receipts for tax purposes will not be considered as tuition payments)

  4. A ten percent discount applies to all applications with deposits paid by 28 February.

  5. Application deadline for non-Canadians: 31 July (**note – due to Visa requirements, applicants from Africa and the Indian subcontinent should apply before July)

  6. Accepted students must obtain legal clearance to live in Canada for the duration of their studies.

  7. It is assumed that Applicants are Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants; however, the Program is not limited to such persons. It is important to note that it is the sole responsibility of the Applicant to ensure legal entry and stay in Canada for the duration of the Program. The Salvation Army War College will not be liable in any way for immigration status of Applicants and Students.

  8. On acceptance, your must confirm your place by sending the following to The War College
    -A non-refundable deposit of CAD$500/USD$400
    -A criminal record check completed within three months. Accepted students must submit a criminal records check to be eligible to participate in The War College.

  9. Accepted students must acquire basic health coverage in British Columbia if arriving from another country or Quebec.

  10. Following the start of the session, cancellations will incur penalties of the non-refundable deposit, plus $500/ month for fees/ accommodation.
